“Fairfax Located Carter, you get back here this instant!”
I refuse to stop misreading graphics with inserted text. It’s too much fun. And also my brain does it automatically.

A month ago this page posted out of sequence, and yesterday it posted without the comic image in place. Truly a problem child.

I was so relieved to see this, lol. I saw this page when it was accidentally posted and then it was gone later when I remembered to catch up. It seemed like such a weird thing for me to have imagined or misremembered that vividly.

FWIW the comic is where you’d expect: https://softies.net/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-6_14.png

On Safari the page content is missing too. Tried in private browsing as well.

I also can’t see the page.
I’m on Firefox, and clearing cache+history for the site didn’t fix it (on the off chance that info is helpful to getting it working).

Yeah, doesn’t show for me either. At least, however, if you use “open image in a new tab” on the previous page and change the number in the end from 13 to 14, you can read this page.

The page’s HTML contains a comment saying “No HTML, Gallery or Featured Image Found” where the page content would normally be, so I assume this is an issue on the server side and not a browser problem.

I added one to the filename of the last panel; you can read this page at https://softies.net/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2-6_14.png
