Whoa! Remember news posts? I haven’t made one in a few whatevers. But it’s worth it this time!
The website has been given a total re-theme, with an eye towards making the reading and commenting experiences feel smoother and less cramped. Episodes once again have unique color schemes, comments are cleaner and cuter to look at, and the entire comic area of the page has been cleared of excess text and sidebar doohickeys, so there’s minimal distractions from the thing you’re reading (my awesome comic).
There’s still little tweaks to come, probably– more episode-specific theming, beautification for the website’s static text pages, etc. — but for now, the main event has hopefully been made significantly more pleasing to interact with.
Go give it a shot and tell me if anything’s broken!

I can’t zoom in on the comic anymore on the browser level because it shrinks to fit the new layout dynamically.

The layout is designed to keep the whole comic on the page when possible, so you don’t have to scroll down while reading the archive. I did consider that zooming in would no longer behave the same way, but I figured that because you can still right click to open the image in a tab, it wouldn’t be a significant issue. I’m open to reconsidering, though, if it turns out it doesn’t jive with how readers use the site!
Out of curiosity, do you zoom in for readability, to take a closer look at art, etc? Would an easily accessible button for opening the full size image help, or not really?

the website refresh is absolutely gorgeous!! defs super user and reader friendly, it feels like fresh laundry (very cozy feeling!!!) navigating through on desktop and on mobile! i also wanted to ask what hosting site you use for it or any that you reccomend?
